1. Who we are
PDFDuniya is an online toolbox focused on PDF documents, AI-assisted PDF features and practical PDF generators. This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit or use the site.
2. Information you provide
Depending on the tool, you may provide PDF files, images, text, signature data, planner inputs, contact information or other content. Do not submit passwords, payment-card data, highly sensitive personal information, confidential business information or other material you are not authorized to share.
3. Files processed by browser tools
Many PDF tools are designed to process files locally in your browser. Examples include PDF Sign, PDF to Word, Merge PDF, PDF Compressor and Image to PDF. When a tool is described as browser-based, the processing is intended to happen on your device rather than being uploaded to PDFDuniya's application server. 4. AI-assisted tools
PDF Summarizer uses the Google Gemini API to generate summaries. When you use an AI-assisted feature, the relevant text or document content may be transmitted to Google for processing. Google may process API inputs and outputs under the terms applicable to the Gemini API. If your use of Gemini is through an unpaid service, Google states that content may be used to provide, improve and develop Google products and that human reviewers may process content for quality; do not upload sensitive or confidential information to such services.
5. Server-side processing
The PDF Summarizer service may receive your uploaded PDF through our application server so that it can call the AI provider and return the result. We use technical controls such as file-size limits and usage limits to reduce abuse. We do not intend to use uploaded documents for advertising or sell uploaded documents.
6. Contact form information
If you use the contact form, the information you enter is used to respond to your request. Please do not include passwords, API keys or confidential documents. Contact messages may be retained as reasonably necessary for support, security, dispute handling and legal obligations.
7. Cookies, analytics and advertising
PDFDuniya may use cookies, local storage, analytics and advertising technologies after they are enabled. If Google Analytics is enabled, it can collect website usage information. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers as described in Google's publisher policies. Where legally required, consent will be requested before applicable personalized advertising or analytics processing.
8. Google advertising and consent
If AdSense is introduced, the site will use the privacy disclosures required by Google and, where applicable, a Google-certified consent management platform for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Users can manage applicable consent choices through the site's consent interface.
9. Data retention
PDFDuniya does not intentionally save or retain your uploaded PDF files or their document content in a persistent PDFDuniya database or permanent file-storage system after the requested processing is completed. Our infrastructure may temporarily receive or hold a file or extracted content only as reasonably necessary to perform the requested operation and return the result. For AI-assisted tools, the relevant document content is sent to Google Gemini, a third-party AI provider, for processing. Any retention, logging, review or other handling by Google is governed by Google's applicable Gemini API terms and privacy practices. PDFDuniya does not use uploaded PDF content for advertising or sell uploaded PDF content to third parties. Please do not upload sensitive, confidential or personal documents to AI-assisted tools.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to an online service. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Third-party services
Some tools rely on third-party libraries or services. The main AI provider currently used for the PDF Summarizer is Google Gemini. Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and terms.
12. Children's privacy
The site is not directed to children under 18, and the Gemini API terms prohibit making Gemini API clients available to individuals under 18. Please do not use AI-assisted features if you are under the applicable age requirement.
13. International processing
Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their applicable contractual and legal safeguards depend on the service and region.
14. Your choices and requests
You may contact us about access, correction, deletion, privacy questions or other requests where applicable. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.
